It’s that time of year again, when everything is Orange.  Since taking delivery of
a huge quantity of Seville Oranges, I have been busy making a variety of
Marmalade.  As well as the firm favourite of award winning Oxford I have been
experimenting with “interesting additions”.  So a new addition to the range this
year is Spiced Orange and Pumpkin Marmalade.  I have also made Whisky
Marmalade and this week will add a new Liqueur to the Seville which I hope
will be successful.
Also a good quantity of Clementine & Cointreau, the Bronze award winner, is
available. Grapefruit and Lemon, which was awarded Silver in 2016 is also
boxed ready to label. Pink Grapefruit has been teamed up with a locally
produced Gin and this tastes rather good!
As the Marmalade range grows I think perhaps I should just concentrate on
this. Such a suggestion to customers has been met with cries of ‘Oh no, what
about our Chutney and lovely Jams’.
